Senior Financial Analyst – Manufacturing Building Products – Base Salary to 100k/year - Lebanon, NJ
- Our client, an inspiring global leader in architectural building products with 70+ years of experience in a wide range of markets, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst with strong ERP and financial reporting and global consolidations experience to be based out of their Lebanon, NJ location for a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 remote) up to 10% travel.
- This position will report directly to the Assistant Controller and will assist in the preparation and analysis of the consolidated financial reporting for the financial close and forward-looking planning (e.g., periodic forecasts and the annual budget), as well as support the daily operations of Corporate Accounting & Business Unit Finance to ensure effective handling of journal entries, account reconciliations and overall financial reporting & controls.
Responsibilities:
- Monthly financial reporting and related fluctuation analysis (domestic & international)
- Maintain clear and easy to use templates to facilitate data collection
- Create and manage ad hoc analysis for management
- Maintain a working knowledge of the full reporting & consolidation process including actual results, supplemental data, budgets, allocations
- Develop & implement internal controls concerning financial reporting including intercompany mapping, reconciliations and eliminations
- Assist in the design & building of new reporting solutions in Oracle SmartView
- Ensure all reporting processes and procedures are appropriately documented & executed
- Maintain the global legal entity consolidation for the annual external audit consolidation
- Support the preparation of the annual financial statements and related footnotes
- Utilize Oracle SmartView to update reports, including management presentations, trend analysis and Business Unit input templates
- Complete account reconciliations and cost analysis for Corporate and Business Units
- Support and drive key ad hoc projects and requests
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field (CPA a plus)
- 3+ years’ experience in either Public or Corporate accounting environment with a focus in financial reporting and consolidations
- Experience with financial consolidation systems, preferably Oracle FCCS or HFM is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365; with strength in Excel
- Knowledge of foreign business practices and foreign exchange translation is a plus
- Hands on experience with general ledger, trial balance and journal entries
- Demonstrated ability to organize multiple and diverse projects including, analytical thinking, planning, prioritizing, problem solving, decision making, creativity in presenting various options and accurately carrying out assigned projects with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical skills coupled with a solid understanding of business dynamics
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 90k - 100k/year range
